Rochester Beacon: Awaiting green light as national hub

A University of Rochester-led coalition is a top finalist for a National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engine designation. The STELLAR project could secure up to $160M over a decade to establish the region as a national hub for laser and optics innovation.
